How sad that Mathew Scully, a vegan, animal advocate, and author of
Dominion, is now writing for Sarah Palin. He must appreciate
publicity and money much more than a clear conscience.

Anyone who believes he is doing it in hopes of influencing Palin to cease
hunting, keep the polar bears on the endangered list (she worked hard
to have them removed), and open her heart to end her practice of cruelty
to animals is naive beyond any possibility of a positive outcome.

To be so naive in this case is a form of denial that can only have a negative
impact on animals, and on the environment.
